Introduction

Print templates are useful tools that allow for the customization of receipts, modifying not only the layout of basic information but also the overall appearance. They enable users to create a personalized and professional look for their transaction records. These templates provide flexibility and control over how transaction details are presented to customers.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Settings → Site → Print Templates

  2. The first 2 headings you will see is Order Receipt Printing and Ticket Printing.

    1. Receipt Custom Header Text - This is a small text string that appears on the top of the receipt. If you have a logo set, it will print the text beneath it.

    2. Receipt Custom Footer Text - The text here will show up below the date and time printed at the bottom of the receipt.

    3. Include Movie Images - If checked will print a small image of the movie poster for each ticket on the receipt.

    4. Include Item Images - If checked will print a small image of the concession item purchased.

    5. Include Item Modifiers - If checked will print the modifiers attached to each item.

    6. Split Taxes - If checked will print all taxes separately.

    7. Ticket Prices Include Booking Fee - If checked will print the booking fee in the printed price.

  3. The next section is Prepared Item Printing.

    1. Pack Time - Remote orders will print this many minutes before they are due.

    2. Print Single Location Pack Slips - If checked a packing slip will always be printed, including orders where all items are from a single location.

    3. Enable Wait and Fire - Allows future orders to be set without a time. Orders can be selected from the kitchen display and “fired” at any time which will initiate printing and delivery.

    4. Group Printed Items By - Select how items on the receipt are ordered.

    5. Group Dockets By - Select how kitchen orders are grouped.

    6. Print Delivery Type - Print the delivery type along with delivery location and theater seats.

    7. Print Order Employee - Print the name of the employee who placed the order.

    8. Print Order Station - Print the name of the station that placed the order. This does not include Kiosks.

    9. Print Number Of Guests - Print the number of guests that are associated with the order.

    10. Print Quantity Suffix - Print an “x” symbol before the quantity of each item on the receipt.

  4. The next section is for selecting font sizes.

    1. The font sizes are Large and Small

    2. Double height means the font is twice it’s height than it’s width.

    3. Double width means the font is twice it’s width than height.

  5. Order invoice printing sets the information for your cinema so customers can contact you about paying their invoice. The information here can be different than that of your cinema’s, like if you have an accountant or manager that handles your invoices specifically or just want that information returned to a different person or place.

  6. The final section is Footer Details. This sets additional information on the footer of your receipts for invoices. It’s built in sections using text blocks. You can add a section by clicking “Add Section”.

    1. Once you add a section a new window pops up.

    2. Heading is a large bold text that separates your sections.

    3. Adding a new block allows you to select from 4 additional things to add to the footer.

      1. Text - A block of text you can add.

      2. Showing Date - The date of the showing purchased

      3. Payment Link - The link is automatically set by the system, you can choose the text that is displayed on the emailed invoice, like “Click here to pay your invoice”.

      4. Created Date - The date of the invoices creation.

    4. The preview window shows you what they will see on the footer of their invoice.
