You can find Inventory Adjustments in Indy Admin-> Operations-> Inventory Adjustments.

You will have the ability to log any adjustments by selecting one of the following categories, then selecting 'Add Inventory [option here] in the top right corner.

From here, you will be able to select at what location the adjustment needs to be taken from and the effective date of the change.

Inventory Item Damage: For logging damaged items e.g. A smashed beer bottle

Inventory Item Preparations: This would include recipes e.g. Pizzas that have actually been made up in preparation for sale. E.g. If you had 20 pizza bases and you 'prepared' 2 pizzas, pizza base stock would be reduced to 18.

Inventory Item Receipts: For logging stock when you receive it. You are able to in add at what location the stock is being stored, the date it was received and the supplier.

Inventory Item Stocktake: If you are wanting to do a stocktake count and add any adjustments, you can click on 'Inventory Item Stocktakes' -> Add Stocktake Adjustment. From here, you can add in how many of each item you have and the system will inform you of whether or not that amount corresponds with what is expected or not. If you are happy with your data input, you can tick 'Committed' and save your changes which will update your inventory/create an adjustment.

Inventory Item Theft: For logging items that have been stolen e.g. A bag of candy at the concessions stand.

Inventory Item Transfers: For logging any stock transfer to different locations e.g. Moving 12 cans of soda from the stockroom into the concessions area. You can also toggle on 'Transfer between sites' if you are wanting to transfer stock from one of your cinema sites to another.

Inventory Item Transfers Receipts: You can view all of the item transfer receipts here.

Inventory Item Wastage: For logging items that have been wasted e.g. You have prepared 2 x Pizzas but they have expired before use.

Pending Inventory Item Adjustments: This will show you all adjustments that have been created but not yet committed. This could be, for example, an employee without admin permission has carried out a stocktake but the data needs approved by a manager. A manager is then able to go into this section, check the amounts are correct and then if so, they can hit either 'Committed' for each item or 'Commit Bulk Adjustment' to approve all info at once.
