Instructions

  1. Make sure that all of the movies have been added to your library

    1. In the back office go to settings - movies

    2. To add a movie you have three options (four if you use a circuit library)

    3. Add From Library - this will allow you to add films from the curated INDY library

      1. Select Add From Library and it will bring up a list. Click the box for each movie that you want to bring over from the library. When you have selected all of the titles click on the bottom right button “Add Movies From Library”

      2. You will need to verify all of the necessary information has been brought over for the movies at your cinema. The things that will likely still need updating are:

        1. Run Time, Studio, Custom Price Card (if used), Title Class (if used), any showing badges that you would like to display etc.

      3. You are able to unlink from the INDY library after the import is done if you would like to not receive the INDY updates. To do so the top right menu has an option to unlink.

    4. Create from The Movie Database (TMDB)

      1. In the movies list, click on Create Movie in the top right corner,

      2. In The Movie section, type the name of the movie in the name box.

      3. Go to the Search TMDB box in the top right and click it. That should populate most of the movie details for you.

  2. You will need to verify all of the necessary information has been brought over for the movie at your cinema. The things that will likely still need updating are:

    1. Run Time, Studio, Custom Price Card (if used), Title Class (if used), any showing badges that you would like to display etc.

    1. If by chance the search does not bring up a movie, or the correct version of the movie, you can obtain the TMDB ID from their website at https://www.themoviedb.org/

      1. Find the correct movie that you actually wanted at that site, locate the ID number in the URL such as this https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/957304-drive-away-dolls. The ID would be 957304.

      2. Go back into the top right menu and enter that number in SET TMDB ID.

      3. Then select SYNC WITH OVERRIDE and it will update the film with the correct version for you.

    2. Now that you have all of the necessary movies in your list you are ready to create your schedules
