Introduction
This article takes you through the steps to create Seat Charts in INDY Admin.
Instructions
Open INDY Admin and log in to your account
Go to Settings / Site / Seat Charts
Click “Create Create Seat Chart”
Name the screen and select the Primary Seat Type - for example, Standard if all or most seats are Standard seats or Recliner if all or most seats in the cinema are recliner seats.
Input the row and column amounts
Make aisles either by rows or columns where they physically occur in the cinema. The preview on the left hand side is what customers and staff will see when selecting seats.
7. Review rules for seating in the cinema - Allow Partial Couch Sale, Allow Seat Gaps and Allow Orphan Seating are automatically disabled but these can be enabled
8. Create different seat types - if the seat chart requires variations of seating, you can amend certain seats and sections.
From here create variations of seating types, these will need to be included as ‘Overrides’. To create this press the + button next to Overrides and a table will open up. For example you need to make the back 2 rows recliner seats, you would change the ‘Seat Type’ to Recliner and then select the seats to override from the ‘Primary Seat Type’ (eg Standard).
This can be done manually by entering the seat numbers by rows and/or columns, or by selecting a seat or section on the seat map (this will highlight blue) and changing the seat type. Click DONE to save.
Create as many seat variations as you need that occur in the cinema you are creating a seat chart for.
9. Click CREATE
10. Push Configuration changes (green arrow in ribbon bar) to publish it.
