We are excited to introduce new enhancements to the showing badge display on our website, mobile app, and signage. These updates will allow for greater customization and improved visibility of showtimes and promotions.

Website Enhancements

Customizing Your Showing Badge

With the latest feature updates, you can now:

  • Display your own image for the showing badge.

  • Customize the button color to override the default settings.

  • Achieve distinct styles such as "Open Caption" or promotional highlights like "$5 Before 5 PM."

Compact and Description Buttons

  • The compact button now supports customized styles with images and colors.

  • The description button allows different colors and branding options, including IMAX logos and pricing highlights.

  • These configurations can be set up through the showing badge form.

New Setup Options

  • A new checkbox, "Upload Your Own Icon," allows uploading PNG or SVG images with a transparent background.

  • A "Display Button Color" input field lets you override the default button color.

  • A "Display Title on Button Instead" option enables text-based styles, ensuring showtimes and promotions stand out.

Button Configuration & Limitations

  • "Display Title on Button Instead" and "Display Button Color" affect only the button.

  • The overall showing badge display will still be based on the set title and image.

  • If multiple showing badges are used on a single button, a drag feature allows users to view secondary and tertiary badges.

  • To maintain readability, we recommend limiting the number of showing badges per button.

Impact on Consumer Website, Mobile App, and POS

  • Any settings applied to showing badges in the form will automatically reflect across the website, mobile app, and POS.

  • Uploaded images and color overrides will be applied universally to maintain consistency.

Color Priority for Multiple Showing Badges

  • If multiple showing badges are applied to a button, the priority system determines which color is displayed first.

  • If a badge has a priority setting, its color takes precedence.

  • If multiple badges have priority or no priority is set, the system will use the color from the top-listed badge in the display order.

Signage Display Enhancements

  • Previously, signage templates displayed only icons.

  • Now, signage fully supports showing badge styles, including icons, images, and text.

  • If the "Icon Only" option is selected, only the icon will be displayed.

  • Image-based badges will now display in signage templates.

Signage Layout Options

  • Showing badges will be displayed across signage layouts, including posters and banners.

  • The configured showing badge style will be reflected in the selected signage format.

Summary

These updates bring more flexibility and customization to showing badges across our platforms. Whether on the website, mobile app, POS, or signage, you can now create visually distinct and easily recognizable showtime promotions.
